WARREN KING

Overview

Brought up in Belfast during the Troubles, I was taught to draw from an early age by my cousin, an art tutor at Queens University. After moving to England, I studied Graphic Design at Medway Art School in Kent and upon leaving college held positions with several companies working with computer graphics. Following a subsequent career sourcing pictures and sub-editing copy for national titles in the newspaper industry, I became a full-time artist in 2016. In 2018 and 2020 I was shortlisted for the Emerge and New Emergence art prizes and I have had several group and solo exhibitions of my work in London galleries.
